Halloween Party Food

Celebrate this holiday with fun Halloween party food

Halloween-party-foodThis may not be the traditional Halloween party food that you have come to know and love throughout your life, but they are some of my favorites. You can choose from a sassy beverage recipe or a sweet cookie recipe and you may find that one of these Halloween party recipes will be the key to pumping up the fun at your next Halloween party.

Once you take one of these great Haloween party ideas and put these ingredients together to spruce up your tricky treat, you are sure to find that you love them. Who knows, you may even elect to allow these recipes to start a new tradition among your friends, relatives, neighbors, and coworkers. The first that we will start with are basic crispy Halloween treats.

Spooky spectacular treats

Here is one of my all-time favorite Holloween recipies.  And in order to make some spooky spectacular crispy treats, you will need to gather some basic supplies. First, you will need about half a cup of butter and about 9 cups of mini marshmallows. Then, you’ll need a box of Rice Krispies, about 2 cups of candy corn, a few candy pumpkins, a cup of chocolate chips and some orange food coloring.

Melt the butter and marshmallows and stir them together. Once you have done this, throw the rest of the ingredients in a bowl, except the food coloring, and mix them all up. Add this to the marshmallow mixture, stir, and add enough orange food coloring until the like the color. Allow everything to cool off, then cut into little cookies or bars.

Time for some liquid refreshment

Maybe after playing a few rounds of Halloween party games, you might think its time for some liquid refreshment. So . . . the next spectacular haunted Hallowen recipe for a party is Witches Brew. This is sure to be an interesting centerpiece your guests will love. First, you will need to assemble a few items. These are a pack of raspberries, 2 cups of cranberry juice, 2 liters of ginger ale, some unflavored gelatin and gummy candy that reflects the Halloween theme – like worms or snakes. Spiders are great if you can find them in gummy style.

Combine the raspberries and cranberry juice in a rubber glove and freeze it. Then, take the leftover raspberries and put them in the base of a bowl and top with gelatin. Next, all you have to do is peel off the rubber glove and add the frozen “hand” you created earlier and pour in the ginger ale. Once this is done, add your scary gummy creatures and you are all set.

If adults will be consuming this product, you may throw a splash of vodka in for some added fun. That’s all there is to creating some great Halloween party food.

Food's all set, yum, yum. Now its time to put on that fabulous Halloween costume you bought with that online Halloween coupon at a discount. And make sure that your Halloween party is a safe and spoooooooooky one.
